WHY EOBD?
We are not trying to teach our piers what EOBD is but we would like you to understand and see the benefits that this technology
brings to the end user. As anyone who has used an e-GAS kit knows we have a very stable system that results in single
figure fuel trims across the whole drive cycle. So where is the advantage? In a nutshell EOBD technology gives e-GAS equipment
a technological advantage that you the installers should be able to capitalise on to gain conversion work. For the end
user they will see increased fuel efficiency, performance & system stability.
TECH BIT!
EOBD is now further enhanced, we now support all the protocols including Can-Bus. We utilise fast & slow fuel trims along
with O2 sensor information (inc current sensors again an e-GAS 1st in the industry) from the 16pin OBD socket. This information
is used in our firmware to control both the closed and open loop condition, automatically enhancing economy and performance
even when the car leaves EOBD control. All you do is connect 1 or 2 wires NO SETTING UP.
What about my non-OBD car Mate!
We did not want to see drivers of older vehicles unable to access the benefits of our EOBD firmware so the e-GAS firmware
team has come up with a revolutionary system that can be used on these vehicles. Basically we connect to the cars O2 sensor,
simply latching on. The firmware then uses this signal after some digital processing to calculate what the fuel trim would
be if the vehicle had EOBD control . We then use this information to alter the fuelling algorithms to achieve fuelling quantities
as close as possible to the ideal. What's more is that this is FREE in all our standard kits.
To further entice you to try EOBD we are offering a £15 discounted rate
throughout December & First Qtr of 2008. This means for £15 extra you can try EOBD.
NEW PRODUCTS
Flexible Pipe
We are now able to supply a fully ECE67 R01 flexible
LPG pipe that can be used for both front to rear supply
pipe and filling applications. The pipe is a Kevlar
reinforced design in either 3/16 or 5/16 internal diameter.
We can supply this in pre-made lengths or to
any individual length requirements, with a choice of
6mm or 8mm Straight, 90º or 45º standpipes to enable
you to use this with any make of tank/multivalve/
solenoids. This is a quality solution with swaged fitting
not to be confused with inferior self assembly solutions.
We also stock compatible plastic P clips at just
4p each to compliment the range of pipes that start at
just £8.95 for a 4.5M length.
25º Tanks?
We have been investigating a novel
cost saving solution to the 4 Hole
applications used on certain vehicles
such as the BMW X5, Jeep
Cherokee and Range Rovers. We
have sourced 25º xternal/Outside
toroidal Tanks in 720 diameter and
a choice of heights of 220, 240 or
270mm. When used with flexible
filling pipe and flexible outlet pipe
this is an ideal solution for those
applications where the tank may
need to be removed to access items
such as batteries.
